This football season is one that no Chelsea fan will forget. Unfortunately not for any good reason — what a tough year we’ve had! We all know the story. The players are finally stepping up and we are seeing the quality on display. This is great, but it’s time to bring out the stars we have in the club who are not on the first team yet. The great thing is Chelsea has some really strong talent waiting for their chance. On Wednesday we saw the quality of one in display as 19 year old Ruben Luftus-Cheek, a Chelsea Academy graduate, subbed in for Oscar and scored a brilliant goal — his first shot on target for Chelsea senior team! Ruben has been with Chelsea since he was 8!! They need to sign that long-term deal now!!

We also have Nathan Ake who is playing very well for Watford as a left back. Next season will be time to replace Ivanovic I think…I say bring Nathan back…

Then there is Dom Solanke who is a forward currently on loan to Dutch side Vitesse and has scored 5 goals this season, God knows we need strikers!

We also need to play the younger talent already on the team. Kenedy isn’t used enough at all. If I were Gus Hiddink I would give him a lot more playing time and look to rotate him with Matic and Ramires.

For Chelsea to have a shot this season we must give the young talent a chance…and shot this season means winning the FA cup and Champions League. Ball is in your court Gus!
